The Problem:
Every day, countless children around the world face dehumanizing circumstances.
These children endure disabilities, survive abuse, and live in extreme poverty, which robs them of their childhood and hope for a better future.
The lack of proper support and resources leaves them trapped in a cycle of suffering, unable to break free and realize their full potential.
The Harsh Reality: In a culture that idolizes perfectionism, hurting children are often marginalized, deemed lost causes, and left to suffer in dehumanizing circumstances.
The Crisis: Guatemala, with a population of 16.9 million, is the youngest country in Latin America, and half its inhabitants are children. These vulnerable young lives face staggering challenges:
· Disabilities: 1.1 million children are living with disabilities.
· Abuse: 5.18 million children have been exposed to abuse.
· Extreme Poverty: 6.7 million children are trapped in extreme poverty.
*100% of children living in poverty or extreme poverty have experienced some form of violation.

The Solution:

When I began as Director of Champions in Action, I realized we needed trauma training to serve our teenagers better. After praying for guidance, I found an email from G2G about a TBRI training session, which was exactly what we needed. It has been a tremendous blessing, helping us connect with the kids and be part of their healing.
Next year, I plan to enroll the mentors in this training. Our partnership with G2G has been a huge blessing, showing true Christ-like service.
